Selection Procedure: The following criteria will determine the students selected by the Foundation:

  Intellectual ability

  Subject matter aptitude / achievement

  Creative / Divergent thinking
Referral Procedure: Schools and educational institutions would evaluate the gifted child in their respective units

The Foundation will establish a child find procedure that includes a screening and referral process for students in schools / colleges, who may be gifted.

Determine the student's potential by evaluating his / her abilities as detailed above.

Assuming appropriate evaluations, a child may properly be determined to be gifted, with lack of financial capability, and be entitled to a scholarship / sponsorship from the Foundation for both reasons.

Grants: The various Grants and other assistances available from the Foundation cover many specialties that are regarded as important and valuable. Students may pursue masters, doctoral or other speciality degrees in the humanities, sciences, engineering, technologies, research or any other field that they have a special interest in and where they can make the maximum contribution. The Foundation may also cover overseas education and specialized training of such individuals.

School: Future plans of the Foundation include setting up a School to provide good basic education to all such under-privileged students.
In other words the Rasila Bhupatrai Vasa Foundation is committed to taking some deserving but less privileged people and making their lives worth living.
